Lauren is the founder of Bloom Wellness!
In June of 2018, Lauren opened her own private practice to serve the community through individual counselling services, family sessions, and group offerings. She primarily works with kids, teens and young adults experiencing various concerns including anxiety, panic disorders, selective mutism, post-traumatic stress disorder, and life stressors. She practices with a variety of treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy, Mindfulness, and Somatic Experiencing.
Prior to private practice, Lauren worked within amazing community organizations. Her background in the mental health field includes crisis intervention work with our local hospitals, long-term and crisis counselling in children’s mental health, and offering counselling services to all ages with a local Family Health Team. She also completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, and enjoys teaching for local studios and schools.
Lauren earned her Bachelor of Social Work at King’s University College, and her Masters of Social Work, with a clinical focus, at the University of Western Ontario. She is a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Lauren has a particular interest in the mind-body connection and understands that there are many moving parts when it comes to healing, so a holistic approach ensures the best outcome for each individual. She believes everyone is the expert of themselves, and is here to walk alongside you on your journey to wellness.
Lauren has recently completed training in Clinical Supervision and is now offering clinical supervision services to colleagues and Masters Level students.

Alyssa (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She completed a Bachelor of Social Work, minoring in Children, Childhood, and Youth studies, at York University, and a Master of Social Work, specializing in Social Justice and Diversity, at the University of Toronto.
Alyssa has experience supporting children, youth, and adults experiencing various challenges, such as, anxiety, depression, general life stressors, suicidal ideations, abuse, substance use disorders, and grief/loss. She works from trauma-informed and person-centered approaches, incorporating a variety of treatment modalities, which include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, mindfulness, strengths-based and empowerment approaches, and motivational interviewing.
Alyssa is passionate about creating and fostering inclusive space(s) that strive for healing, growth, and empowerment on the individual, family, and community levels.

Jaclyn (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology and a Minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from the University of Windsor, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Jaclyn works with teens (16+) and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, grief/loss, life transitions and relationship issues. Her clinical focus is on perinatal mental health, and she is certified in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders and Birth and Reproductive Trauma through Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Trainings.
She also offers Gottman Method Couples Therapy, an evidence-based modality that helps to improve communication, intimacy and mutual respect.
Jaclyn’s approach is client-centred, holistic and trauma-informed. She integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Compassion-Focused Therapy to create customized treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals. She strives to create a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their innermost thoughts and emotions while learning new strategies to enhance resiliency and overall wellbeing.

Brianna is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in Psychology and Masters of Social Work, both from the University of Windsor.
Brianna has experience providing individual counselling to children and teens with various challenges such as anxiety, panic disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideations, school avoidance, self-esteem, and general self-regulation. Brianna practices from a person-centred approach and utilizes various evidence informed practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Positive Psychology, Solution Focused, Mindfulness Based Practices and Somatic Experiencing. Brianna fosters a welcoming and safe space where clients can share, feel heard, and learn new skills and strategies to meet their individualized goals.
Brianna offers evening appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sees individuals ages 5-20.

Chelsea Canniff is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Development Studies and her Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Waterloo.
Chelsea works with children, youth and young adults. She specializes in areas relating to anxiety, social anxiety, depression, self-esteem and interpersonal relationships. Utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Mindfulness within her practice.
Chelsea believes in a holistic and client centred approach, assuring a space in which clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions openly. She believes clients are the experts of their own journey, empowering each individual to build resilience, self-sufficiency and improve their overall well-being.

Lisa is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work Degree as well as a Bachelor of Arts – Psychology from the University of Windsor.
Lisa holds certifications from the University of Toronto in Mindfulness Based Chronic Pain Management, as well as certifications in Foundations of Applied Mindfulness Meditation and Applied Specialization in Mindfulness Meditation. She holds advanced certifications in yoga with specialization in Trauma Informed Yoga and Therapeutic Yoga Specialist. Lisa earned her 900 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, and recently has achieved certification as a Somatic Sound Practitioner through the Mind Body Music Center in Texas.
Lisa has worked with children and families as a social worker for the past 30 years. She has supported both adults and youth through a wide variety of life experiences, while incorporating Trauma Informed Practices as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness Based Practices and Yoga and Somatic Therapy.
Lisa believes in the strength and insight of each individual client to guide their own path. She creates a safe and nurturing environment to foster client exploration into their own abilities and potentials.
Her focus at Bloom will be based on intertwining psychotherapy and Yoga as a therapeutic tool.
Lisa will provide clients with practices to develop their ability to witness their moods, thoughts, and the discomforts in their bodies and minds so that they can respond with less reactivity and live with greater mind-body wellness. Yoga can be a powerful tool in working through past trauma, or simply in becoming more self aware. When we integrate somatic awareness at a pace that feels nourishing and supportive, clients are able to build trust in themselves and a sense of safety.
Lisa offers sessions clients ages 16+.

Jada (She/Her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Windsor and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
With a focus on supporting individuals aged 6 and older, Jada works with clients navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and those seeking personal growth and empowerment. She is currently pursuing certification in ADHD to enhance her ability to assist clients in managing ADHD and leading fulfilling, productive lives.
Jada integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's unique needs, including solution-focused (SFBT), attachment-based, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Jada is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood. Jada strives to build a trusting therapeutic relationship that encourages openness, personal growth, and healing, allowing individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges at their own pace.

Mikaela is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario. She completed her Bachelor of Nutrition Sciences at the University of Ottawa and worked as a dietitian for 6 years before completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University when she realized her passion was for clients mental & emotional health. She is currently completing her training in Somatic Experiencing, a trauma resolution model.
Mikaela works primarily with adults & parents, and is accepting clients ages 18+.
Her passion is to support clients with complex and developmental trauma, particularly as it shows up as depression, anxiety or OCD. She works through an attachment and nervous system lens, using mostly Internal Family Systems and Somatic Experiencing, though incorporates other therapies such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Mindful Self-Compassion and Strength-Based approaches. She provides strategies to support you in your day-to-day while also guiding the deeper work to get to the root of your difficulties.
In addition to working through trauma, your work together will focus on empowering you through rebuilding your self-trust and sense of self, increasing your capacity to move through your emotions, decreasing overwhelm, and giving you the tools you need to show up for yourself & your life in the way you desire.

Bose (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a certified relationship coach. She holds a Diploma in Social Service Work (Gerontology) and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Building on more than 15 years of experience as a relationship coach, Bose is currently deepening her therapeutic skills through training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Bose supports individuals, couples, and families navigating relational distress, emotional trauma, attachment wounds, grief, and significant life transitions. Her clinical focus is on relationship trauma, and she specializes in helping clients rebuild trust, strengthen emotional bonds, and foster healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
Her therapeutic and coaching approach is culturally sensitive, client-centred, trauma-informed, and grounded in attachment theory. She draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the Gottman Method, and Narrative Therapy.
Bose's warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental approach allows clients to explore their challenges, heal deeply, and experience long-term transformation in their personal and relational life.

Michelle is a Registered Psychotherapist and a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Spiritual Care (Wilfrid Laurier University), as well as an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Development Studies (University of Waterloo).
During her student internship, she worked predominantly with post-secondary students, working through academic challenges, relationship issues, navigating cultural differences, life transitions, and anxiety and depression. In her work as a therapist following graduation, she has continued to support clients through similar challenges, as well as navigating past trauma, grief, physical health challenges, family dynamics, and work/life balance.
Michelle’s goal as a therapist is to support her clients in navigating the challenges they are facing, and to walk alongside them on their journey of healing and growth. Through her own personal experiences, Michelle has a special interest in helping people who struggle with a new or pre-existing chronic health diagnosis, especially Parkinson’s Disease, as well as their family members. Michelle is also passionate about helping students to set goals and to tap into their greatest potential.
Michelle brings warmth and positivity to her work, and she provides a safe, non-judgmental space for her clients. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centred and strengths-based, and she uses a trauma-informed lens, as well as pulling from modalities such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based practices and solution-focused therapy.
